Current position: SR III within UPB-CPMTE, www.upb-cpmte.ro Scientific/technical achievements: over 40 articles in ISI and BDI journals, 3 in proceedings and conference volumes, 6 posters and oral presentations in national and international meetings, 3 patents and 8 patents proposal. Director and team member of 11 national grants and 1 international within last 10 years.
Expertise in the project field:
Environmental impact assessment & data analysis - In TRANSECOTECH project I was involved in crucible optimization in microwave field heating at 1300°C together with designing of microwave assisted melting furnace. Another part of this project was focused on designing high temperature gas filter, where I worked on the design and I supervised its manufacture.
In this domain I was involved in simulation of every piece of equipment equipped with microwaves that was developed for different applications such as: polymer synthesis, thermal washing of glass waste, smelting of non-ferrous metal waste, and obtaining metal powder from aluminum waste, treatment of electrical and electronic waste. • Awards:
(Within the TRANSECOTECH project financed from structural funds, unconventional technologies for the recovery of metals from electrical and electronic waste were developed, the activity being rewarded with gold medal in the “Traian Vuia” International Exhibition of Inventions and Innovations, Timisoara, Romania, 2020).
